Mahmoud Awad joined Sikuy-Aufoq in August 2024 as the coordinator for Arab society representation in Hebrew media. Mahmoud holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Political Science from Tel Aviv University. He brings with him academic knowledge and deep familiarity with the media world, along with an understanding of policy influence processes. Mahmoud worked as a civics teacher in a high school, and alongside his work at Sikuy-Aufoq, he continues to be involved in education. Mahmoud was born in Tamra, where he lives today with his wife.
