Shirin Batshon joined Sikkuy-Aufoq in September 2023 as the co-director of the Equality Policy Department. Shirin holds an L.L.M from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University, and she’s also a graduate of the American University Law School in Washington D.C. where she was a Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow. In recent years Shirin worked as a researcher at the World Bank and UN Women. She is a data-based policy and advocacy expert, with specific expertise in law, gender, economics and climate.
