Sikkuy-Aufoq - For a Shared and Equal Society (R.A)

Ya’ala Mazor is co-director of the Shared Society Department. She is currently among the most experienced staffers at Sikkuy-Aufoq and has held a number of positions since coming aboard in 2014. Focusing most recently on education for a shared society, she has led policy change efforts and public campaigns and overseen coalition-building involving numerous participants. Alongside her work at Sikkuy-Aufoq, Ya’ala facilitates groups addressing social change, human rights, and the conduct of conflictual dialogues in the classroom at organizations such as the Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue, the Center for Humanistic Education at the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum, the ICCI, and others. Ya’ala holds an MA in Society and Arts Studies and a BA in Arabic and Bible Studies from the Hebrew University. She lives in Jerusalem with her partner and their three children.
